Pet Health Calculators for Dogs & Cats

Use these free pet health calculators for dogs and cats to quickly estimate age in human years, daily calorie needs, and basic vaccine & deworming guidance. All tools are created and reviewed by Dr. Zahid Afzal (DVM) for educational use at home.

Tool 1

Dog & Cat Age to Human Years Calculator

This interactive dog age calculator and cat age calculator helps you estimate your pet’s age in human years. It’s a quick way to think in “life stages” (puppy, adult, senior) when planning health checks, blood tests, and screening with your vet.

Dog & Cat Age to Human Years Calculator

Enter your pet’s age and species to see the approximate human-age equivalent. Use this as a simple reference, not a replacement for veterinary examination.

Result will appear here after you use the age calculator.

This pet age calculator uses a common veterinary formula: first year ≈ 15 human years, second year ≈ 9 human years, then dogs add ≈ 5 years and cats add ≈ 4 years per calendar year.

Reminder: Always base serious health decisions (blood tests, anaesthesia, surgery) on a full vet exam, not on any dog or cat age calculator alone.

Tool 2

Dog & Cat Feeding / Calories Calculator

This tool works as a basic dog calorie calculator and cat feeding calculator. It uses standard Resting Energy Requirement (RER) formulas and activity factors to estimate your pet’s daily calorie needs. Always adjust based on body condition score and your veterinarian’s advice.

Dog & Cat Feeding / Calories Calculator

Enter your pet’s weight and lifestyle to estimate a safe starting point for daily calories. This is for healthy adult pets only.

Result will appear here after you use the feeding calculator.

Values are based on RER (Resting Energy Requirement) = 70 × (body weight in kg)0.75 multiplied by an activity factor. This pet health calculator gives a starting point; always fine-tune food amounts with your vet.

Dog & Cat Vaccine & Deworming Schedule Helper

This tool gives a simple, educational dog vaccine schedule and cat vaccination schedule based on age. Exact timings always depend on your local disease risk and your veterinarian’s protocol, so treat this as a reminder, not a final plan.
